Post subject: wave volume controlls the "master volume" of my soundcard - how can I get itouch
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>keyboard (more info?)

I use a soundcard (Terratec Sixpack 5.1) with digital out (optical
line) to my stereo player. Sixpack 5.1 uses the wave volume control
to control the volume of the digital out signal.
Because of this I cannot control the volume from any other softwares
devices (including media jukebox, windows media player), nor my itouch
keyboard volume control. They all control the "master volume".
This pisses me off...
Does anyone have any tips / advice?
best,
rolf
